Rosemary Sea Salt Brownies

  • 1 Package Brownie Mix
  • ¼ c. Safflower Oil (or other neutral oil)
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 c. Non-Dairy Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh Chopped Rosemary
  • ¼ tsp. Flake Sea Salt
  • ¼ c. Applesauce or 1 Egg
  • ½ c. Chocolate Chips (optional)

DIRECTIONS: Steep 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped rosemary into 1 cup of non-dairy milk and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool and strain. Preheat the oven to 350°. Spray or foil line an 8" baking pan and set aside. Add the entire bag of mix to a bowl and create a well. Add in the milk, applesauce, oil sea salt and vanilla extract and mix until only small lumps remain. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into your prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. For a more fudgy brownie, bake for 25 minutes.
